Accidently became an Etsian.
It was never my plan to become a small business owner. Growing up in the Northen Michigan, getting through long winter is always a challenge, especially when you are a stay home mom. After my two kids were born, I decided that I need a hobby to keep me from going insane, thus came my very first sewing machine. Who would know that it was this sewing machine that started a brand new chapter of my life. I had no sewing experience whatsoever to begin with. Youtube tutorials were helpful to get me started. Over the time, I improve my sewing skills through lots of practice and tons of mistakes. Beofre you know it, I am the proud owner of 3 industrial sewing machiners, 2 sergers and 2 embroidery machines. Today I can proudly say that I am a poficient seamstress. I am constantly trying new ideas, adding new designs. I can not tell which grows faster, my two boys or my small handmade business. With support from both my husband and boys, I am able to run this business without hiring any help.
I am always on the lookout for new ideas. One of the things I enjoy most about my job is the fact that you do not know what creation you are going to come up with next.
