Greetings to all who drop in. I mainly list jewelry-mid 20th century mostly but just about any thing that catches my fancy at estate sales/consignment stores, etc. Now and then, some older collectibles too. Wish I could confine my collecting to just one category--I've gone from Asian to European (English Royalty and German) to Art Deco and back. Fortunately, my spouse is a collector, too, so the clutter doesn't get to him~ I hope to share some of my "treasures" with my new Etsy community.

I always combine shipping/handling costs on multiple purchases. Also, I often offer discounts (so check back if you've fav'd something) OR better yet, don't be shy about contacting me with an offer.

Obsessive Collecting Disorder

I developed Obsessive Collecting Disorder (OCD) when I married a man who loves to shop. Truly. When we vacationed or just went for walks in the mall, he could always find something-usually something impractical-but something that caught his fancy. I had always been much more of a looker, but gradually his OCD began to rub off on me. I began to collect thematically--I think Asian items were the first; then English Royal Family; then German china; then costume jewelry. And if I could find a piece of Royal family memorabilia that was in the form of costume jewelry made in Germany---ah!

With the advent on online auctions sites, I found a quicker and less labor intensive way of collecting and since space was beginning to be at a premium, to gradually move some of the acquisitions along--then starting looking for items to sell at the same time I was collecting. And that has brought me here.
