LAHI Design creates headwear for babies, kids, and adults. We create playful and smart products that add a bit of special to you or your little one's wardrobe. They are designed with a lighthearted spirit and a dash of aloha.
LAHI is a blend of LA (Los Angeles) and HI (Hawaii). It's where we've spent the better part of our journey!
All of the hats are designed to be personalized with your name or special occasion theme. We hand press and make everything in sunny North County, San Diego.
During the spring of 2015, my son was 4 months old and I couldn't find an infant size trucker hat. So! I made him one. And that was the beginning of LAHI trucker hats. The best part of this journey is the opportunity to help our customers make a special, one of a kind, hat!
4 years ago, when we began this journey, we set out to offer cute trucker hats for infants and toddlers. As we continue with our journey, we now strive to truly turn our passion project into our family business that we may pass to our children. We love everything about our hats, the process, and most of all, our amazing customers.
We treat our customers with respect and gratitude. In an ever-changing world, filled with “buy now” buttons and automated “thank you’s,” it’s important to us at LAHI that each customer receives the personal touch that often comes with shopping a small business.
Plans for the future include launching our sister brand, SMALL KINE SUPPLY.

The only thing I know to be constant is that change is inevitable. I was raised on an island only to travel thousands of miles away to make California and then Asia my home. Transitioned from a great career in home furnishings/interiors to start a new business in Asia --> LA --> Carlsbad. Currently raising two beautiful children. Eloping on Halloween! All these adventures make up my wonderful book of life. I draw on all these experiences as inspiration for LAHI.
