Lalli blossomed from a couples adventurous desire to forgo all the rules to create a life in a place they shared a love for, India.

Through years of exploration, Mother India was nurturing them to become one, she immersed them into her culture and made them feel apart of the her family and in 2005 the couple connected with a small rural community in the north. This community was thriving with the charming Tailor Cast, so making clothes, of course, seemed most fitting.

The wheels were in motion, their vision was unfolding and they were collaborating with their enchanting new community. Materials were sourced and bought in from major cities and they started creating a few fun dresses to take back to Turkey to sell on a beautiful beach called Olympos.

The business was a success - But the working conditions in India were not. So the next major step was to build a work space in the village where the team could work in a happy, spacious, non threatening environment for those who ultimately helped build Lalli over the years.

The efforts of the community started gathering global recognition and designers from around the world were choosing to work with the lalli team to produce their clothes in a unique and fair work space.

After years of perfecting our knowledge on design, fit and production we decided to showcase Lalli to Australia and it has been met with great success.

Our business ethos above all has resonated with likeminded people because after all, Lalli is the ethical clothing label for free thinking individuals, creating sustainable livelihoods for the community we work with.
