I have newbie sewers making hats for a production of Alice in Wonderland and the only issue they have had is connecting the petal ruffle to the hat. But that doesn’t have anything to do with the product and more the fact that they’ve never seen before and it takes a little finesse to spiral it and make it look good. With a bit of patience anyone can reproduce this into a great wearable
