No Restrictions when it comes to "Arts".
Laurel Arts began in 1991 after my husband and I built a small log cabin in the NC Mountains. I named it after the land we live on which is covered with Mountain Laurel. I create so many different things I couldn't just limit it to one so hence the "Arts", in the name. We previously had two supply shops here on Etsy called laurelartstoo.etsy.com and patternsonly.etsy.com, but combined them all into our main shop to make shopping easier for our customers.
I am the creator and hold the patent on the Spirit Songs Wind Chimes, memorial wind chimes created with stoneware clay honoring those we love. I also have the copyright on the personalized Family Tree Wind Chimes, clay leaves with names, dates, and words imprinted on the leaves.
I love spending my creative time designing knit and crochet patterns, specializing in the bulky yarns so full of texture and playful coloring.
In 2014 we started designing, creating and selling silicone molds, opening up a whole other area to our business.
2016 brings woodwork to our list with wonderful hiking/walking sticks and handmade craft supplies.
There are no restrictions so I am sure I will be adding more and more creativity to Laurel Arts.
