- After the hand painted design has dried and been baked (at 325F to ensure vitrification) the mug is microwave safe, but I recommend limiting microwave time, as excessive heat will weaken the design. Running the mug through the dishwasher is not advised; gentle hand washing will keep it looking nice and new!
- Final appearance of items may differ slightly than the items pictured due to their hand painted details.
- Please be careful with your hand painted items. Left of Rose is not responsible for damaged designs from daily wear and tear.

I use Pebeo Porcelain 150 paints on all mugs, and plant pots, and only on surfaces that do not come into contact with food. Following is a statement from Pebeo:

PORCELAINE 150 is a water based thermo-hardening paint, specifically intended to decorate china and crockery & does not contain any soluble heavy metals liable to be held back in the organism.
Baked PORCELAINE 150 does not contain, and does not free, heavy metals when in contact with acid type components, water, alcohol type components, oily or greasy components.
However this product remains a paint. An application on the inner surface a a plate can be altered by using knives, forks (scratches...) and by foods with a different type than those listed above.

If your shipment is returned to me by the USPS for the following reasons: "UNABLE TO FORWARD" or "FORWARD ADDRESS EXP" or "UNDELIVERABLE AS ADDRESSED" or "UNKNOWN ADDRESS" or "UNCLAIMED" I will notify you with photographs of the returned package and ask for address confirmation. The buyer can then choose to arrange for further shipping, to a new address, at the buyer's expense (+ the $.20 listing fee). or to receive a refund (minus all shipping costs).

- All shipments carry insurance, so if your order arrives damaged, please notify me within 3 days of delivery and send me a photo of the broken item, *WITH ITS ENTIRE BOX & ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING.* As soon as I receive photos of the broken item, I can file a USPS insurance claim.
- If you would like a replacement, I will send you a new item at no additional charge. (if a photo of the original packaging cannot be provided, the buyer will be responsible for the shipping cost of the replacement item)
- If you would prefer a refund, I will process one, in full, through Etsy. (if a photo of the original packaging cannot be provided, the original shipping charge will not be refunded, only the cost of the item itself)

FREE SHIPPING is offered for standard domestic delivery only, international postage overages will be refunded at time of shipment.

As a lady with a full time job outside of etsy, I only pack and ship orders once a week. Most orders will ship out to you during the week following your purchase. Depending on order volume, processing time may be longer however, this is reflected on each individual listing and in the "ship by" date you will receive upon purchase.
***Please Note: if the Priority shipping option is chosen at check out, this only applies to the shipping speed of the package once it reaches USPS custody. Processing time will be the same as detailed above.
