Funny cards for the people you know best
Hi, I'm Rafael. I've been designing cute, funny greeting cards in Ottawa since 2018.
The moment I'm after is the second someone opens the envelope and laughs. Plenty of store cards say "I bought you a card." I want mine to say "I know exactly what you'd find funny."
That's why the shelf here gets specific. There's a card for the friend who'd live on pho if you let them, the dumpling devotee, the matcha person, and the coworker who still talks about a poutine they had years ago. Animal lovers will find llamas, pugs, sheep and toads. And there are cards for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Hanukkah, Mother's Day, Father's Day, graduations and plain old thank yous.
I keep every card clean, so you can hand one to your grandma, your boss or your kid's teacher and only worry about whether they'll get the joke. (They will.)
My favourite part of this job is hearing what happens next. One customer's mother-in-law had a good laugh. Another customer said they got child of the year. Someone's grandma teared up. If you find the card that does that for your person, I've done my job.
