Always up to something
I learned to be crafty from my mom, she was always making stuff when I was a kid. I discovered my love for painting in high school and mostly did just that for a decade. Painting canvas with acrylics, selling, doing shows, painting for myself, friends and family. The last 10 years have been all about the little stuff. I started making ornaments years ago after seeing truffles in a chocolate shop and thought how cute those would be as an ornament. Something that didn't get eaten but could be enjoyed all year (or just at Christmas). My mind never stops working and I have more ideas of things to make than time to do so. I make little wood dolls, fimo figurines, magnets, paper mache, paper garlands and decor, signs, and ornaments. I make almost all of the toppings for my ornaments and they are all hand painted by me.
Painting is still my first true passion and do it on occasion. I've had fun recently painting pet portraits for some neighbor friends and myself.
