About

Illuminating the world as I see it.

I’ve been drawing since the age of eight (earlier, if you believe my mom). The subject matter has always been the things that were important to me. Early on it was space ships, then boats, cartoons, and animals. I have studied illustration, children’s art, calligraphy and medieval art. I have been a mapmaker and a draftsman. Through it all I have immersed myself in the work of artists ranging from Albrecht Dürer to N.C. Wyeth to Milton Glaser. And the list keeps growing. In the last decade I have explored my Celtic roots as well as the spirituality of my ancestors. Because I might draw upon any of these influences, my work can be quite varied.

My visual art is comprised of making marks on paper. Graphite, colored pencil, watercolor, gouache, and ink will all be used when needed. I do some digital work, but mostly as a means to prepare artwork for reproduction. The art you will find in my store is archival quality, printed on acid free paper (unless otherwise specified). Visit my website and blog for more information and more art. If you see something there that is not on my store, send me a convo, let me know what you’d like.

Payment
METHODS OF PAYMENT: I accept Paypal, Money orders, and cashier's checks (bank checks).

SALES TAX: Washington State residents will have to pay sales tax. The rate of 9.5% (for most of King County) will be added to your bill during the checkout process in Paypal. Washington state requires the tax to be calculated according to where the goods are delivered, so if you live in a different part of the state, when I get your address I will revise your bill or give you a refund through paypal. If you're paying by bank check or money order, please contact me so that I can send you a revised invoice reflecting the correct tax.

NON-PAYMENT:
Payment by PayPal is expected immediately after placing the order and payment by money order must be mailed within 3 days. Please let me know when a money order or bank check is sent. If payment is not received in a timely manner and if you do not respond to my emails, the transaction will be canceled.
Shipping
I will ship your purchase by USPS First Class or Priority Mail within 3 business days after payment is received (custom orders may take longer). I add tracking to most packages, and insurance for items over $100. If you have other needs, please let me know. Please contact me to verify international shipping costs and requirements.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you wish to return or exchange an item, please contact me within 2 weeks of your purchase. Items returned must be in like-new condition, and refunds do not include shipping costs. I appreciate my customers very much, and want them to be happy.
