The morning that started it all
It was a rainy Tuesday. My toddler had been staring at a screen for two hours, and instead of feeling relieved that he was quiet, I felt guilty. I searched online for something — anything — beautiful, developmental, and screen-free that I could print right then and give to those little hands. What I found was either too basic, too ugly, or too expensive for what it was.
So I closed the laptop, opened a design file, and started making something myself.
That was the beginning of LittleHandsUp.
What we make — and why it's different
Every printable in this shop is designed with one question in mind: Will a real two-year-old actually sit down and do this? Not just once — but again and again?
That means no generic clip-art worksheets. No filler pages. Every book is 40–80+ pages of purposeful, developmental activity — tracing, matching, coloring, sorting, problem-solving, and emotional learning — all wrapped in a warm, beautiful aesthetic that makes you actually want to put it on the table.
We're Montessori-inspired, which means we believe children learn by doing. By touching. By making decisions with their hands. That's why every activity in our books is hands-on, open-ended, and developmentally appropriate for the 2–5 age range.
