When I purchase your shipping label and you’ll get a notification from Etsy with the tracking number. This doesn’t mean it’s shipped yet, only that I have paid for and printed your shipping label. Once your package gets dropped off at the post office, it can take up to 1-3 days to update the tracking online.

Frequently asked questions
Shipping/Lost/stolen package
You (the customer) are responsible for any incorrect addresses, or locations where the post office is unable to deliver and I will not refund you in those situations. Postage is not refunded if it’s been used. Please make sure the address is correct before buying!
Package theft is not covered by shipping insurance and we will not pay at our expense. It is your responsibility to secure a safe location for packages!
If the tracking number shows as delivered, but you cannot find it, you’ll have to contact your local post office USPS. It’s your job to make sure your mail is being delivered in a safe area where mail can’t be stolen!
Returns details
There are no cancellations, refunds, or exchanges given for products - all sales are final. I do cover damaged and lost packages as long as the damaged item is returned to me.
Due to the custom nature of our products, refunds/exchanges are only offered if you receive an item you did not order or if you receive a damaged or defective item(we will ask for a photo though), we will issue a refund for you or replace it with identical one. If such a problem occurs, please, contact me immediately with the transaction number and photos of the situation.
Please note that you MUST reach out within 3 days of receiving your items if you have any concerns or issues!
Care instructions
Keep out of direct sunlight. Over time, the sun will fade the beautiful colors on your specimen. Display in (preferably) a temperature-controlled environment- room temp is best but not required. Keep out of humid/moist environments to prevent molding. Avoid touching wings as this will remove the color (tiny little scales).
Some insects are sometimes stored in chemicals such as moth balls for preservation. They may have a smell when you first open them. This usually only affects larger-bodied insects, such as giant beetles and XL scorpions. After a few days, the smell will dissipate.
How are your insects ethically sourced?
I have a government permit to legally import insects from farms & sanctuaries all over the world. The permits ensure sustainable practices & help protect vulnerable wildlife populations. I don’t condone practices that decrease natural populations. Sustainable butterfly farming is supported by conservationists & scientists worldwide because it helps to preserve natural habitat from deforestation & commercial farming, helping their species continue. This also helps maintain populations of all other (thousands of)species of flora and fauna on that protected land where the butterflies are raised. Families in these areas are able to make a fair wage. It’s a beautiful system that aids in the survival and greater good of multiple species.

Our shop ships from the United States Postal Service! All the delays and problems caused by the postal service, and customs inspection is beyond our responsibility. All items are guaranteed good quality, except for damage due to postal shock. Every effort will be taken to avoid postal shock through packaging. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, customs delays/fees. We ship to the exact address that is given to us! Please make sure that it is correct! Please check with your local customs and post office to make sure that our items can be delivered to you!
