I have been creating ever since I could hold a crayon and I started to sew when I was 3. yes, 3! my mom would give me a dish towel and a threaded needle and I would go to town sewing it up into a weird wad. who gives a 3 year old a needle and completely trusts them with it??!! There is no way I would give my son one! I grew up only a few blocks away from my Grandma. She was an amazing artist and seamstress. I spent a ton of time with her and we would make my barbies tiny clothes. My best memories with her were spent sewing. I sewed a lot when I was younger, took sewing in school, had 4 hours of AP art very day in high school. After high school I stopped sewing. My grandma was in her early 80's when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia. She passed away when I was 24 and right after she died i had a deap desire to get back into sewing. so i did and haven't been able to stop since! I started to make hair accessories and sold them at local boutiques. I got married to the love of my life, we had the cutest baby boy Cash. I started to make him the cutest hats. He looked so cute in them! I sold them at Farmers markets and in local boutiques. I decided to open up an etsy shop. In Janruary 2013 I started making leggings, headbands, shorts and more and it took off from there! I did all this while working full time doing lab work at an orthodontic office. (on top ob being a mom and wife, crazy, I know.) the end of August 2013 We had to move 5 hours away from home for my husbands job. I was terrified of having to find a job. I was scared of change, putting Cash in Daycare, new city, new everything! So I prayed my guts out that I would be able to stay at home with my son and do this full time. I am so grateful that it has all worked out and that Im able to do my dream job.
