I started creating art at a young age. I was enrolled into a small private art class in my home town. I was taught how to draw. I then got older and I created art for my self. I got into high school and I took four years of art. This is when I realized I had a true passion for art. I decided to get int art when I went to Wayland Baptist University. I took all the art classes I could. I want to learn all the techniques. My best so far is acrylic painting, conte / charcoal drawing. I am good at portraits or doing any drawing/painting if I look at a picture. If I try to create off the top of my head it just becomes abstract. I got into digital art years ago. I new nothing on how to use photo shop, so I start pushing buttons and researching how to's on youtube. I have a lot of abstract art with my digital art. I love it because it's easy for me to express myself more abstractly. I did take a class at Wayland, that taught us how to do designs for advertisement, posters, flyers.
I have been trying to grow an audience, which is hard when the income is no go. I have posted my art on the site Deviant art, I have a few followers there. I have a facebook page that explains where I sell my art. I love to try new things, and I love to teach my self. I get inspiration from other artists or the nature that surrounds me. I have tried but not mastered: photography, sewing, soap making, oil painting, jewelry, and newest (or revisited) polymer clay crafting.
For those who want to know why I picked out my shop's name. It goes back to when I was gaming a lot on Online Role Playing Games, with my game name PirateLizzie. I had a gamer friend who called me Lizard! I thought it was cute, thus I thought it would be cute to put a extra 'z' in Lizzard. "Lizzie/Lizzard" I was playing in "Second Life" and I decided to "open shop" I needed a shop title because I did not want to give away my real life name. I came up with "Lizzard Productions" then I changed it to "Lizzard Studio" and it stuck.
