Some of my most enjoyable earliest memories were driving out to the country on weekends with my parents in my dads old Ford F 150 to hit a long line of yard sales from South Jersey into Lancaster County Pennsylvania. I always cherished the memories of the lovely rides through the country's farmland, old stone farmhouses & historic wooden barns and not to mention all of the cool antiques we would load up and bring back.

We lived in an old historic home from 1877 in Woodbury New Jersey and my mom always decorated our home & garden seasonally with her rustic finds from the mountains. As a young boy my treasure hunt started in our home as every primitive table, antique hutches drawer or old cabinet had something cool or unique for me to enjoy. I developed a love for the feel and aesthetic of old cast iron, primitive wood with patina and how much better things were made back in the day.

As i got older and met my partner Sofia we continued the tradition of picking the countryside together on the weekends. As our home began filling with antiques and unique vintage treasures we felt a need to share them with others who also had their own unique stories and nostalgic connections to these items.

My partner Sofia opened up our shop on Etsy as our shelves started filling up and still felt the need to continue the hunt. As we started hearing the wonderful unique stories and happiness our items that were once lost were bringing others we knew we had found our calling.

We can't get enough of discovering historic items and we just love uncovering what might be hidden behind old barn doors and covered in years and years of patina. We hope you enjoy picking our shop as much as we did picking for it!
