About

I am an old raver gone punk philosophy that landed on a farm in East Tennessee in ther 40s. I may be old but I got to see all the good bands. However, To quote NOFX I wore out the soles of my party boots, now I work a boring 9-5 and grow most the food my family eats. I love canning, cooking, and chaos and my angst at the world. I have held on to my love of deconstructing, destroying and rebuilding boring thrift store finds into something that makes society take another look. I may not have a purple mohawk any more,, but at least I can still rock some one of a kind fashion.

To quota NOFX I wore out the soles of my party boots and crash landed on a farm in East Tennessee. We love comic books and video games and just being. I am kicking off an instagram for my shop here. https://www.instagram.com/bleachanddestruction/

Welcome, welcome. I like to add a little edgy flair to my own and my kids attire, and decided to bring a little unique to you. Everything I do is hand bleached, distressed, and/or painted. I don't mass produce, so what you see is what you will get. Everything I ship that can be is washed and dried and ready to go, however for heavily bleached items, they may still have smell of bleach.

Also, I do not use fabric softener in my house, just a little vinegar and some essential oil in the rinse and wool felted dryer balls.

I have tons of work shirt name patches. These are authentic taken from work shirts. They have been worn by hard working people doing hard work, and may show stains and wear. It gives them character. They will need to be sewn on.

A lot of the clothes I have rescued from thrift shops. They will be pre-loved and given a new look and new lease on life. It is recycling you can look fabulous in, and feel good about.

This shop is brand new, but have confidence. I have another shop for my vintage and antique finds here, if you want to see my feedback.

Shipping
Shipping is based on weight and where you live. Patches are small and light and I can pack several in an envelope with a stamp or two. I will ship these USPS first class, and this will not include a tracking number. This keeps your cost very low. If you want your patches faster or you want tracking, I can load up a flat rate envelope if you are willing to pay the difference.

Once your purchase is over 13 oz, I will be shipping priority or parcel post. At lower weights, the difference in cost in very small. Once weight gets higher, or the measurements get larger, parcel post can sometimes be quite a bit cheaper, or flat rate boxes.
Additional policies and FAQs
Care of your items:

I recommend washing in cold on the gentle cycle or hand wash, and laying flat to dry. For frayed and distressed items, the will continue to fray. You may need to trim up some strings on jeans and they may get wrapped around other items in your washer.

For items which you attach one of my patches, I recommend washing inside out and not putting the dryer. The heat can eventually affect the glue and your patches won't stay attached as long.

I will eventually step in to custom requests, but for now I am unable.
