...and here is my journey
Mi nombre es Lori y soy originaria de Rumania, Europa del Este.
Tuve el privilegio de viajar un poco por el mundo y visitar bastantes países.
Viví en Dubai durante 15 años, en India durante 2 años y en Hong Kong durante algunos meses. Me mudé a Estados Unidos hace unos 15 años.
Mientras vivía en India, me enamoré de las diferentes telas y los increíbles estampados que ofrece este país. Decidí probar suerte y usar algunos de los saris que compré allí en proyectos sencillos. Amigos y familiares empezaron a pedirme que les hiciera algunos... y así empezó mi viaje como afición hace 15 años, y desde entonces se ha convertido en un trabajo increíble a tiempo completo.
En este momento cuento con la ayuda de algunas pequeñas comunidades de mujeres de la India que me ayudan a conseguir telas (principalmente saris y kanthas vintage) y a convertir mis ideas en hermosas creaciones.

My name is Lori and I'm originally from Romania - Eastern Europe.
I had the priviledge to travel a bit around the world and visited quite a few countries .
Lived in Dubai for 15 yrs , India for 2 years and Hong Kong for few months .Moved to USA about 15 years ago.
While living in India fell in love with diffrent fabrics and amaizing prints this country has to offer . I decided to try my hands and use few of my sarees I bought from there in some simple projects . Friends and family started to ask to create some for them ..and here my jurney started as a hobby 15 years ago and since than has been converted in a full time amaizing job .
I do have help right now from some small women communities in India who helps me with sourcing fabrics ( mostly vintage sarees and kanthas) and converting my ideas into beautiful creations .
