A little bit about me.
My name is Mariana, I am the owner, creator, designer, and business manager of Lovable Pinatas. I was born in Valencia, Venezuela. 17 years ago I moved to the States, and married my wonderful Navy guy. Several years later we were blessed with our first daughter. When she turned 1 year old I started looking for pinatas to celebrate her birthday. After looking everywhere, I couldn't find any pinata of my liking. There were either too small or too plain. I was dissapointed because in Venezuela when we celebrated a party, we usually had a PINATA, but these were huge pinatas that could resemble any character you might think of. So, I decided to explore and make my first pinata (and cake) to celebrate my daughter's birthday. To be honest with you, I would have never thought I could make either one of them. My mother and sister were always the crafty ones, and I considered myself the "ugly duckling" in the crafts matter. I was surprised it wasn't that hard for me, and I liked how it looked. After that, year after year I have made pinatas and cakes for my, now, two daughters, and friends upon request. Then, one friend suggested me to start selling them. I didn't think there was a market for it, but I decided to give it a try...long story short, I started selling, and that is how Lovable Pinatas started. Thank you so much for reading, and most of all, thank you for your support. I would really appreciate if you can share my page with your friends and family. Word of the mouth is the best way to grow. Mariana

5 out of 5 starsHelped make our party over the top! Took 22 kids multiple hits to even get a dent in it and my husband finally had to take a few hits and help it along, very well constructed. Got our money's worth out of it and it was an awesome conversation with the parents about the unique design.

Frequently asked questions
WHAT COMPANY DO YOU USE TO SHIP MY PINATA?
I use Retail Ground (USPS) for shipping the pinatas. This service will take from 2-10 business days depending on how far you live from Florida to deliver your pinata. This shipping method is the least expensive method. A Confirmation email with tracking info will be sent automaticaly by Etsy when I create the label. The date you receive this confirmation is usually the date I ship the pinata. I can also ship via Fedex or Priority Mail.
HOW MUCH DOES THE SHIPPING COST?
Depending on how far you live from Florida, the Retail Ground shipping can cost anywhere from $8-$22 or more. Pinatas don't weight much, but the boxes are of a large dimension, therefore the shipping charges. If you choose Fedex or Priority and you live far from Florida, the shipping charges can be really high.
CAN YOU SHIP MY PINATA ON THE SAME DAY I ORDER IT?
ALL PINATAS ARE CUSTOM HANDMADE upon request. I recommend ordering them at least 3 weeks before your party. If you need it before then, please contact me to make sure I can make it. I always try to do my best to accomodate orders, but sometimes it is just impossible. Same, next or 3 days to ship a pinata is impossible since I have to make them first.
Please include the date you need your pinata to arrive when placing an order. Please check your shipping address to verify it is correct.
MY PINATA IS DAMAGED. DO I GET A REFUND?
Shipping Insurance is included at NO COST to you with your purchase. If your order arrives damaged, please TAKE IMMEDIATE PICTURES of the Damaged Box first, prior to opening the item. Then, take additional pictures of the damaged item as well as the box content (wrapping paper). This process will help me file a claim with the Insurance company. I will give you a full refund if your order arrives damage, but first I would need you to take and send me the pictures mentioned above.
UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES DO I GET A REFUND?
If the pinata is damaged upon arrival
If you change your mind for any reason prior to me starting your pinata (usually you have up to 3 days after placing your order to request a cancellation)
If your party is less than 3 weeks, and I can't just fulfill your order.
UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES I DON'T GET A REFUND?
Order Returned to me (The Sender) caused by an incorrect address Or un-deliverable address that was supplied to me on the original order.
Late delivery due to a carrier issue, holiday back up, a package lost in shipping. You may open a claim with the carrier in those cases.

How many pounds of goodies can a pinata hold?
It depends, but a rule of thumb I DON'T RECOMMEND ADDING MORE THAN 3 POUNDS of goodies. If the piñata is too heavy it could compromise the hanger, especially when the piñata is being hit and with the up and down movement.
