Hi Crystal, I'm sorry to hear that you were expecting something a little different. I do try to be very thorough in my item descriptions. If you read the listing, it mentions at the top that these are made from old book pages and have a golden patina. I hope they still suit your needs. -Sam

I messaged lovefernboutique late on the Wednesday night before my wedding about getting them to me by Friday that week and she responded almost immediately. She mailed them them the following morning and I received them on time! On top of the great service, the cards are so cute.
