My creative space, where everything is just within reach and I’m surrounded by artwork and creations of those I love.

When I was young, my mom taught my sister and I how to make rice bags, though back then it was done out of wheat. I instantly fell in love with the warmth and comfort it gave. I continued to make them as gifts for my family and friends throughout the years. At the end of 2012, a year and a half after I had opened my Etsy shop, I was reminded of how wonderful rice bags were as I gave them as Christmas gifts to co-workers and saw how happy they were to receive them. And it hit me, these are what I love making and what I love giving to others. So, with the kindness of fabric from my mother-in-law, I listed my first rice bags and haven’t turned back since.

How long do I warm my rice bag in the microwave?

The times vary for the different sizes of rice bags. The suggested time for hand warmer and headache & eye rice bags is 30 seconds - 1 minute. For neck & shoulder, 6.5 x 10, 9 x 9, and 6 x 12 rice bags the suggested time is 1 1/2 minutes to 2 minutes. Each rice bag has a tag sewn into it with instructions on times and also noted in the item details in each listing.
