MAGGIE RUTHERFORD

Born and raised in Bothell, WA, I earned my BFA in Painting & Drawing from the University of Washington in 2009 and an ATA in Horticulture from Edmonds College in 2024. As both an artist and a horticulturist, I find continual joy in the intersection between plants and people, and the blurry lines between wild landscapes and tended spaces. My paintings are inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, the cycles of the seasons, and my own woodland garden.
