My aluminum has a beautiful mirror finish on the front, unlike any blanks you'll see in other shops. There's no need to tumble it! In fact, tumbling this crazy shiny aluminum will actually wreck the finish, so don't do it! That gorgeous shine is protected by a plastic coating, which you'll want to peel off before stamping your blanks. Inks, paints, and sharpie stick in the impressions like a dream! Since you shouldn't use polishes or pads on the mirror finish, just wipe away the excess darkener with rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth - easy peasy!

Your blanks will come in sets of 5. Not only will it save you shipping costs, it's also the perfect amount for a bit of practice, or for making matching items.

Jeweler's brass is also known as "nugold." That's because the color has a rich, full color that you won't find with regular, yellow cartridge brass. Jeweler's brass is a lot easier to stamp than yellow brass too! It's great for soldering and patinas, and adds a high end look to your work.

Heck yes it is! This is the most beautiful copper I've seen! It's a soft copper, which makes it easier to stamp than other copper I've tried. It takes chemical treatments beautifully, so verdigris and patinas are vibrant! And your flame painting is a dream come true.

Well, it's basically perfection. ;) The pewter blanks you'll find in my shop are 16 gauge, which gives them a rich, heavy feel. They give your jewelry that extra something when you want a high end feel, with an affordable price. They're lustrous to begin with, but you won't believe how shiny these pewter blanks are when they're tumbled! They feel rich against the skin, and of course, they're lead free.

In a nutshell, I make the blanks by hand, one at a time. Your custom shapes are cut with a jeweler's saw, and your punched blanks are made individually with my hands, my hydraulic jack and dies, and my jeweler's saw. When you order them with finishing options, I also debur them with my sander, and tumble them if you choose.

I love giving you options, so there are 3 ways you can order your blanks!

The first option is to order raw blanks. This means they'll come to you hot off the press. This is a great choice when you're on a budget! Raw blanks will have bur on the back, but you can remove that bur with a file or sanding block.

The second option is to have me do the work for you! I only charge 25 cents per blank to save your time. When you choose to have me debur your blanks, I'll use a belt sander to remove the burs. I take the sharp edges and you keep your sanity.

The third and final option is to have me debur AND tumble your blanks. For just another 25 cents per blank, I'll sand off those burs and tumble to a beautiful shine!

You're in a hurry to get started on your project, so I punch, cut, and ship those blanks as fast as I can! Punched blanks ship out within 3-5 business days, and hand cut blanks are ready to go in 2 weeks or less.
