Hi, I'm Megan! I opened MakeWells at the start of 2012 as a little side business (I was an art teacher at the time). But then managed to become a full-on freelance artist by that summer... Phew, what a blessing!

Over the past ten years, Makewells has grown quite a bit, evolving from a small shop with a few designs to a full-time business offering everything from hand-lettering pieces and uplifting, joyful art prints to product and stationary licensing. Oh yeah, I also became an author; crazy! If you like hand-lettering, check out a copy of "Hand-Lettering (An Interactive Guide to the Art of Drawing Letters)."

I really do love creating all day, everyday and having an etsy shop has been a great way for me to reach a broader audience.
