I started my shop because I needed a creative outlet and a way to generate income. My first love is vintage housewares, and the more I went to estate sales, the more vintage craft materials I collected.

Not one to waste an opportunity, I decided to incorporate the vintage supplies into yarn wreaths and stretchy headbands. I quickly found that I loved making these items to relax and provide gifts for friends.

I am an avid blogger (marigoldroad.com), so when I add a new product it's likely because I've been inspired by another entrepreneur in the blogging community.

I tend to not follow the rules which overflows into my little shop. I sell what I love even if it doesn't match. You'll always see quality, though! Many of my headbands and accessories can not be duplicated due to their vintage nature. I also use other quality materials like wool blend felt and non-slip headbands.

It brings me unspeakable joy to see a young woman or girl wearing one of my products. It's important for us to feel beautiful. Life's too short to not feel beautiful. We can feel beautiful in simple ways, with simple touches..by wearing a brooch, headband, or whimsical earrings, for example.
