I’ve always been attracted to all forms of artistic expression, because the fact of transforming an idea into something tangible is fascinating to me.
I first started creating jewelry for my own personal use, but soon friends and family were asking me to create and sell them customized jewelry pieces, so what started out as a hobby at the beginning, suddenly became one of my favorite things to do and opened a whole new world of possibilities to me.
I’ve always considered myself a creative person, avid to do things by myself and always looking to learn more about what I’m interested.
Every day I learn more about gemstones, metals, new materials and techniques. This is precisely how I discover “metal clay”; a fascinating new material that offers the feel and working properties of modeling clay transformed into a fully metallic object after firing.
Every piece I create is unique because it’s handmade and two pieces will never be exactly the same.
My inspiration comes from everywhere in my environment and my culture*. My work will always reflect an emotion, feeling or idea. My learning process will never end and my work will continue to evolve with me.
I have a Bachelor Degree in Communications and I’m a certified artisan with a Level III Certification from the former PMC Connection. I also completed courses in sculpture, drawing, watercolor and printmaking at the College of the Canyons.

*I was born in Mexico City and lived there until my family and I moved to USA in 2007.
