What does the "matboard size" mean?
The "matboard size" is the overall size of the matboard, which should be the same as the size of the glass of your picture frame. Also note: there is a second measurement to matboard, which indicates the opening size. This is based upon the size of what you are framing.
Your matboard size should always be larger than your opening size request.
Can you tell me more about your frames?
Our frames are made of wood and MDF. This provides a stable frame that will not crack or expand in humid conditions. All of our frames include either a glass or a plexiglass covering, as well as the hardware to mount the frame onto your wall. Our 8x10 and 11x14 frames also include an easel to include on your tabletops.
How precise can my custom measurements be?
We cut all of out matboard with a computer guided tool that is precise to 1 1/28th of an inch. Our core matboard can be as large as 32x40 inches. We can cut any custom size that fits within that framework. If you need something larger, please ask, as we can likely accommodate that as well.
What is your policy on Returns, Cancellations, and Exchanges?
-We accept returns only up to 14 days after the order has been delivered. Your refund will be processed within 2 business days of our receiving the order back in our facility.
-If items were made to your defined specifications but the dimensions need to be adjusted, we may not be able to exchange or return them. Please contact us.
-We accept cancellations prior to the shipping label being created.
-We will work with you to fully replace any damage to the product in shipping. Please provide us with pictures of the damaged carton & pieces damaged.
-The buyer is responsible for the return shipment costs. The shipment must be received in its original condition. Please provide a tracking number for the return shipment.
Do you offer priority shipping for last minute orders?
We do offer a priority shipping option, for last minute orders. We produce and ship these orders on the next business day from the order being placed (based on Eastern Time). We use UPS 2nd Day to ship these orders or the next best availalbe service within the price you paid.
As an example, an order placed by 11:59 ET on a Monday should arrive to you that Thursday. Note Fed Ex only delivers 2Day Monday-Friday, so please account for weekends.
