Announcement    The Women’s Work Collection explores the theme of women’s traditional roles and how they choose to engage or not engage those roles. The women featured in these pieces and their stories are juxtaposed with crochet made by my maternal grandmother and my great grandmother, as well as new pieces I’ve made to further explore the line between traditional handicrafts and art.

You'll also find a selection of handmade art journals and printables to spark your creativity! I can't wait to collaborate with you!

Mixed Media Art

My work is about taking disparate elements and combining them in beautiful and unexpected ways. I have a deep love of printed paper materials, and it doesn’t matter if those materials are old book pages, product packaging, or high-end specialty papers. I enjoy using all of it in my collages. What challenges me is seeing if I can take printed paper - a universal, utilitarian item - add paint, ink, or pencil to it; and turn it into something beautiful, meaningful, and powerful. Can I make something that defies the expected? If I’m really lucky, I surprise myself with the things that I make.

To me, collage speaks to the patchwork nature of our lives. We pull memories, ideas, and dreams from our past and cobble them together with the people and places we encounter in the here-and-now. It’s a perpetual cycle of incorporating and reworking our own personal materials. Gluing things together has been an obsession of mine since I got my first bottle of Elmer’s glue. My choice of materials may be broader and more sophisticated now, but the impulse to illustrate what’s on the inside of my head remains the same.

Additional policies and FAQs
All items come from a smoke free studio. A crazy Corgi-Lab mix lives in my house and she is an Olympic class shedder. I take precautions for keeping her hair out of the studio but occasionally a stray hair might make it into a shipping box.

I reuse external packing materials in an effort to be environmentally conscious. You will likely get a previously used shipping box. Please feel free to reuse it or recycle it. Inside the package however, I use clean materials so your item won't be damaged. Please feel free to reuse them however you see fit.

I welcome custom order inquiries. Please convo me for questions and info.
