Returns and exchanges
By placing an order with Modest Chicks, you agree to these terms. Please read very carefully. In most cases, I will follow this policy. However, in certain cases this policy may be adjusted.

Please Note: The fastest way to resolve all issues with an order, is to contact me personally. I can be reached at 1-513-356-2113. Please leave a detailed message if I'm not available. I will contact you within 1-2 business days. Most times I will contact you in less than 24 hours!

Return Policy

I want you to be happy with your purchase. However, I do realize there may be times when you will not be happy with your purchase.

I have a very generous return policy. I thought I'd try something new. A return policy that you will not find anywhere else (that I know of). Here it is:

If you find that you're not happy with your purchase, just email me or give me a call. It' s up to you if you want to return the product to me. You do not have to! I don't want you to have to spend your precious time at the post office if you don't have to. All I ask is that you find someone else to give it to. Someone that will appreciate it! That is, if product is not damaged in any way. I'll still refund your money or send you another product of equal value (same product if I have it available). This saves us all time! No worries on your part. Let me do the worrying! I love giving to others. This fulfills that part of me that wants to help and give to others (without asking for anything back)!

Of course a handful of people will find a way to abuse even this return policy. Therefore, I must place a limit on how many times a customer can do this. As well as, the number of products involved. Put it this way, not too many times and not too many products! :) If I find that it's being abused, I can/will handle this policy in a different way.

If you want to still return the product back to me, please contact me for my return address. I'll reimburse you for the shipping fee.

All refunds will be credited back to the credit card used at the time of your purchase. Although I will credit your account as soon as I receive the returned merchandise, it can take up to 7-10 days to see the credit back on your account. After the allotted 7-10 days, please check with your bank if the funds have not yet showed up on you credit card.

Lost Packages
If for some reason your package gets lost during delivery, please contact me asap. I will refund your money once it has been confirmed by USPS that you didn't receive your shipment. Just to be certain the package was lost, please allow at least 3-7 business days to receive your order. If it has not arrived within that time frame, please contact me asap.

If you need to cancel an order soon after placing it, please contact me asap. I will be more than happy to cancel the order for you. You must call me right away!

Please notify me ASAP if your merchandise arrived damaged.

For money orders, please contact me for the address.
I ship all orders by USPS Priority Mail (flat rate box with insurance) within 24 hours after payment for merchandise has been received and cleared (business days only). If more is purchased, the shipping rate will be adjusted accordingly.

Once your order has shipped, please allow 3-7 business days to receive your package in the USA. All shipments will have a tracking number released to you once the order has been shipped. A tracking number will be sent to you via email. This will allow you to know the exact day your package will arrive at your home.

All customers must pay the shipping fee in order to have merchandise shipped to them.Customers are also responsible for shipping fees on all returns to me.

Please contact me asap if you do not receive your package by mail.

I will reimburse shipping cost should the following occur:

I made an error.
You received a damaged garment.

What makes Modest Chicks different?
I focus on adding many different colors, uniqueness, and beauty to my merchandise! I also back up my work with a 100% money back guarantee and a one year warranty (should anything fall apart due to my construction). Plus, my return policy is very generous!

I only sell merchandise that is ready to be shipped. No need to worry whether or not something is in stock. This gets your merchandise to you very quickly!

Also, no going through several people to discuss your account. You deal with the same customer service rep all the time (me). These are just some of the differences. As you build a relationship with me, you'll find that I offer many beneficial differences for my customers!

Do you ship outside of the USA?
No, I do not ship outside of the USA.

Can I have something custom made?
Unfortunately, I do not do custom orders.

Are the colors I see the true colors of the merchandise?
I try my best to take pictures that reveal the true color of each item. However, each PC monitor is different. This can cause the colors to appear slightly different on your screen. Although it shouldn't be a big difference. I don't do very much photo editing due to the big difference in changing the colors.

You can also adjust your pixels (color). Right click on your computer screen. Click Properties. Click Settings. Then adjust pixels/color quality until you can see the colors clearly. You many have to try experimenting with several settings.

How do I know whether or not a skirt/dress will fit?
The best way to be sure a skirt/dress will fit, would be to take proper measurements. Please do not go by the ready made sizes in retail stores. If you need assistance, please don't hesitate to call me. I include all of the measurements with each skirt/dress. If a skirt/dress does not have your measurements, it's the wrong size. Please read the details of each skirt/dress very carefully. Please refer to the sizing chart before making a purchase.

I have chosen not to sell wholesale.

I only have an online store. Customer pick up and drop off is not available.

How do I pay for my order?
You can submit your payment through PayPal, or money order by mail.

Why do I have to confirm my address with PayPal?
I'm a verified seller with a confirmed address with PayPal. This is a protection for my customers. As a protection for me as a seller, I require all of my PayPal customers to have a confirmed address. Your PayPal payment will not be processed without a confirmed address.

What if I want to do a charge back?
It is my hopes that you'll be happy with your purchase. However, I understand that at times a charge back may be necessary. If you choose to reverse the funds on your credit card after making a purchase, please contact me asap. I will be more than happy to refund your money back on your credit card. Of course, you will have to return all merchandise first.
