Feel free to mix and match any of the items in our shop to create your own set or contact me to help you design something! Frequently asked questions
How do I care for my items?
We custom print most of our fabrics on 100% cotton with water soluble dyes. They are heat sealed (no chemicals!) to lock in the colors and get softer with every wash (so don't worry if your sheets feel crisp upon arrival!). We also print on minky and jersey knit. Colors can appear different depending on the fabric and how it reflects light. This is not a defect and something to be aware of.
Crib Skirts and Window Curtains are prewashed, we recommend washing them only when necessary. Please wash in cold & lay flat to dry.
All other items (sheets, changing pad covers, blankets and rail guards), may be washed as much as needed! You can wash them in any temperature and feel free to throw them in the dryer.

I see an item I like, but it's not perfect, can you make changes for me??
We can change colors and scale on most of our fabrics, so if you want to see some changes just ask! We are also able to add names and personal details into pretty much any of the designs:)
Don't see anything you love? We are happy to custom design fabrics for you and charge no additional fees to do so!
Will this fit my crib or bed??
All of our crib items are made to fit a standard US sized crib. If you are international, please leave your mattress dimensions. We will be in touch if we have any questions.
For RAIL GUARDS, please take note of your crib design. If you have solid sides or back, or a very thick top rail, we may need to alter the ties to fit your crib correctly. If you are not sure, feel free to send a picture, we are happy to help!
Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for these changes, it is your responsibility to check before ordering.
Can I return my item?
Since all our items are handmade to order we do not offer returns or cancellation of orders. We do stand behind the quality of our product, so if something is not right we will do all we need to do to correct it through repairs or replacement.
If you are unsure of any aspect when ordering, please feel free to reach out! I am happy to send proofs or answer any questions so you are sure you are ordering what you want:)

When will I get my order?
Production time varies depending on the items. If you have not purchased the item yet, you can find production estimation on the listing you are viewing. If you have purchased, you can see an estimated ship date under your purchase section on Etsy.
Please note these are only estimates, because fabrics are custom printed to order there are rare circumstances where we have to wait on the printers, causing slight delays. This is very rare, but please let me know if there is an event date your item is needed for to avoid any disappointments!
I only received part of my order?!
No worries! To ensure the most cost effective and timely delivery, we oftentimes ship items from your order separately. Our goal is to ship all the items by the estimated ship date, but sometimes we may ship select items early (yay!), so please don't be alarmed if your package doesn't have everything you ordered, if we are still before your estimated ship date;)
Please contact me if you prefer your items ship together (this may cause a slight delay).
Rush Fees & Policy
If you purchase a RUSH fee to get your items sooner, the guarantee is 1) shipment by a specific date (example: ship within 2 week of purchase date), or 2) shipment with a specific quoted arrival date (example: I will ship with a quoted arrival date from shipping vendor to meet your needs). As long as Modified Tot meets these requirements, the rush fee will not be refunded. Modified Tot is not responsible for delays or any other misfortunes caused by the shipping vendor.
Specific Item Production Information Part 1 (Nursery Items)
After 10+ years in the business, we have put much thought & consideration into how each item we sell will be produced, in order to get our clients the best end product possible.
Breathable Crib Liners, Rail Guards, Crib Skirts, Nursing Pillow Covers, Muslin Blankets, Valances:
Handmade by our team of stay-at-home mom seamstresses. They are all 100% cotton except the nursing pillow covers which are minky.
Crib Sheets, Swaddles, Changing Pad Cover, Car Seat Covers, Throw Pillows: Handmade in the U.S. with Jersey Knit (pillows are cotton).
Minky Blankets:
These items come as internationally sourced blanks. I work with local printers that can print my custom designs onto these items.
Specific Item Production Information Part 2 (Other Items)
Toddler & Up Bedding:
Due to the width of the fabric needed, these are hand sewn at a production facility. They are able to source blank fabric, print it with my custom designs, and then sew it into beautiful bedding that we would otherwise not be able to offer.
Bathroom Items, Wallpaper, Rugs, Curtains, Diaper Bags:
These items feature my own custom designs sublimation printed onto the items locally (except diaper bags which are printed internationally).
As a graphic designer putting hours into my fabric designs, I do ask you to understand that a lot of what you are purchasing from me is my custom design!
Specific Product Details
Rail Guards: Come with one long front guard (51"), and two side guards (28") unless listing specifically states otherwise. They are 11" long unless requested larger for thick upper rail.
Crib Skirt: Three sided, fit standard U.S. crib size with a 15" drop.
Sheets: Fit standard U.S. crib mattress, jersey knit.
Changing Pad Cover: Fit 16"x32" pad, with about an inch give in either direction.
Minky/Cuddle Blankets: 30"x40" or 50"x60" with printed cuddle front and white cuddle reverse.
