When the artist inside of you needs a break and an office job doesn't suffice
Hi,
Thank you for visiting my store and for wanting to read up on my story. I'm an interior designer who graduated 5.5 years ago and found myself soon afterwards in the midst of fit-out, construction, and project management. It was pretty cool and fun I wouldn't deny that, especially the being on-site part and wearing all of the cool site gear. I've managed to learn quiet a lot about construction and design execution during that period which to an interior designer is very important.
I however barely managed to design anything due to the very limited time I had after work which always made me day dream about the day I'd be a world known interior designer/artist with a product line in my name. I was slowly loosing interest in what I did, so eager to get a break in the design world, so I managed to pull all nighters here and there to work on freelance design projects but being a full time employee made it so hard to be able to focus on my design work. Add marriage and a baby to the "no time and not satisfied by work equation" and you've got yourself a resignation!
I've resigned yesterday, January 28th 2015, and put in my one month notice after having thought about it for so long. I've come to a believe that life is too short and that I need to be living it and doing what I love the most. I've set up Nada's Printables and I have great goals for it and for other future stores which I'm planning as a further step down the road. I will be selling my own photography work, events stationery and printables, digital cards, wall art digital prints, etc.I've been in love with drawing, coloring, designing ever since I've been a little child, I used to create invitation cards to non existing events as a child and mind you I took them very seriously.
I will be 100% dedicated to interior designing as a freelancer and to my etsy store Nada's Printables which I'm very happy Etsy has enabled me to create and share with the rest of the world. I'm starting the shop with my photography work but I will be soon adding other sections and my own printable designs. When I design I'm usually inspired by the richness, diversity, and authenticity of my Arab culture and background and the astonishing technology, opportunities, and fields of the modern world.
Thank you for reading about me and my store. I hope you enjoy going through my store, Welcome and Happy Shopping!
