The Story Behind New Outlook Coaching
Thank you for choosing to share these lessons with your incredible group of girls. It truly means more than you know.
My name is Cindy, and I founded New Outlook Coaching in 2018 after co-coaching a girls’ group when my daughter was in third grade. During a confidence lesson, I listened as young girls—far too young—began pointing out things they disliked about themselves: their hair, their bodies, their faces. I left that day deeply moved and, honestly, heartbroken. Those words didn’t come from nowhere. They came from what they had heard—online, in media, and sometimes from the way we as women speak about ourselves out loud.
That experience forced me to reflect on my own self-talk. As a mother of two daughters, I knew I had to do better—not just for them, but for myself too.
A few weeks later, I made a decision to take action. I enrolled in school, spent many late nights studying, shed more than a few tears, and pushed through exhaustion. Through that journey, I earned my Life Coach certification, and New Outlook Coaching was born. From there, I began creating lessons, writing books, and even offering subscription crates—all centered on helping girls build confidence, self-worth, and a healthy inner voice.
Starting this business changed me. It changed how I spoke to myself, how I showed up in the world, and how boldly I pursued my dreams. It even gave me the confidence to chase a lifelong goal of moving to Florida. While life required me to pause in-person work for a time, I truly believe that everything happens when it’s meant to.
Today, I’m so grateful to be sharing these lessons with you. While I will eventually return to teaching in-person and online courses for tween and teen girls (and moms), for now, my heart is in equipping you. These lessons are designed to be paired with your own experiences, love, and leadership—because you are the trusted voice in their lives.
My hope is that these lessons create meaningful conversations, lasting memories, and moments that help these girls see themselves just a little more clearly and kindly.
You’ve got this.
And I’m so glad you’re here.
With gratitude,
Cindy
