At the moment Nice is in "vacation mode", although sadly, I am not on a vacation. In February 2012 I found out quite suddenly that my kidneys had failed do to a sudden (and so, so random) auto-immune disease I never knew I had. My life is a bit upside down right now and I am currently waiting for a kidney transplant. I miss Nice very much and hope that I can get back to work soon. I am slowly working on introducing a sister shop..expect your favorites from Nice and lots of new products.

It may sound obvious, but all of my products are my own original creation. I know that has been a strong factor in the success of Nice so far. Nice began officially in 2005 with vintage home decor, wood burned and acrylic paintings, and of course my Mini Deer Plaques and signature party banners that have helped me stand out and make a name for myself. Since then I have added jewelry, prints of my artwork, Mod Cabin Clocks and chalkboards, Illuminated Memo Boards, my widely blogged light shades made with vintage textiles such as doilies, and most recently my very special Fringe Banners / Glittering Fringe Banners.
Handmade and vintage items by Nice have been featured on many blogs and magazines including Decor8, Martha Stewart Weddings, Refinery29, Nylon, Mollie Makes, Poppy Talk, Craft Zine, and Design Sponge, and in 2007 the Mini Deer Plaques were sold at FredFlare and a part of their annual Next Big Thing contest. Hooray banners by Nice are included in the newest book by Kayte Terry, Applique Your Way, from Chronicle Books (fall 2009).
My blog is the perfect place to find out what’s new with Nice. I also maintain a mailing list (I pride myself on making my emails pretty) and Nice is on Facebook (which I have found to be quite helpful for getting the word out asap with shop updates and events).
