Frequently asked questions

Sizing details

All fake nails are sold in sets of 24 in various sizes. This ensures no pesky measuring is needed and also so that you'll have spare nails.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All nail sets are included with a complimentary organza bag. They are not sent attached to the spine/stick. I remove them and file them before shipping to my lovely customers. If you'd like them intact, please let me know!

Do you take custom requests ?

Yes, if its possible for me I will make it happen.
I can switch up colours, add decorations, add pierced loops, change the finish, make a specific theme, you name it.

How do I use them?

Choose the widest fit for each nail.

Wash your real nails with soap and water. You may also go over them with rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover to ensure all natural oils are removed. To make glue stay on longer you can also gently buff your nails with a file. Squeeze a small amount of glue to centre of the nail, push false nail down into place and hold firm for about 20 seconds.

It is normal for glue to come loose from your nail every other day or so. Simply glue it back into place. You can continue doing this until your nails start to wear out. They last between 1 and 3 weeks depending on how gentle you are on them.

What makes these more desirable than salon acrylics?

Lots of things!

-No obnoxious chemicals.

-No tools being shared on other hands like clippers and files.

-No damaging and abrasive filing to your nails.

-No long waiting times in the salon, these are ready to go.

-And best of all, they save you money!

The nails themselves are top salon quality. They can last as long as acrylic nails, you'll need to re-glue them as the glue comes loose after a while, however, the trade off is that you are not damaging your natural nails

Are these nails vegan friendly and cruelty free?

Yes!

At niceclaws I make all my own polishes which are vegan friendly and not tested on animals. Pigments are made here in Canada or imported from the USA.

How do I remove them?

Nail polish remover will desolve the glue from your nail. Soak each one for about a minute and gently work them off with a nail stick.
