Not exactly sure what size you need? Refer to the sizing chart in each listing for help. It's as simple as measuring the child's foot on a flat surface and adding 1/2" for growing room. The hardest part is finding the pair you love the most.

These are perfect for my 15 month old. We wanted to stay with the minimalist, barefoot style shoe for proper foot development and these work great for an everyday shoe. I would recommend treating them with a leather/suede protection spray before wear.

I love them! They are as pictured and look beautiful. They fit my baby, but it does take some effort to wiggle her little feet into the bootie. I like that there is good elastic around the ankle so it stays on, but they are not super easy to slip on because of the elastic. I highly recommend them!

This is my fourth Nooks product for my kids. I love these little booties for pre & early walking. They hold up well and are easy to get on. My son will wear these all summer and I’m sure they will still be in great shape.

Handmade clothing and footwear for kids made in Kelowna, BC, Canada.

Nooks Design began with a visit to some Kelowna, BC thrift stores on a cold December day where there was an abundance of outdated wool sweaters that were going to be discarded due to rips and stains on the material. It seemed like a perfect opportunity to take the wool and make it into something new and beautiful, and so was born the idea of transforming it into footwear for little ones' feet.

One year after the launch of the business, a line of children's clothing was designed and brought to production, starting with custom dresses and skirts. The diversification of the product line made it necessary to rebrand into Nooks Design in mid-2014.

Today, the vintage fabrics as well as upcycled wools and leather are being made into a variety of dresses, skirts, rompers, sun suits, bloomer shorts and accessories like bow headbands; of course, the little wool booties that started it all are still available too!
