My passions are drawn towards the intersection of nature and technology. I do not believe the two are separate, but that the more we learn about nature and ourselves, the more we can create technologies to come closer to Utopia. Science and the natural world are one and the same, and I love to contemplate futures where humans have become cyborg. These passions of mine influence the naming and formulation of my products, and I am always looking at new technologies in the beauty sphere to bridge with traditional plant knowledge. I began The Library in 2015 and in 2016 I created the Eldar Herbal Unguent for the first time. This product is at the core of my collection and has taken years to perfect. It is the culmination of all my knowledge of the plant world, and all of my knowledge of the science of the skin. The work that went into creating the Eldar balm led me to create other products, some more simple than complex, but all with the goal of being gentle yet effective. When telling the story of a product I have always focused on explaining the historical or traditional use of a plant, and following it with the science we have on it. When it comes to lab-made ingredients, I focus on trying to simplify information found in peer-reviewed studies because I believe most of all that access to information and the right to learn is one of the most important things for us all.
