Phosphoromancy is just ethereally, indescribably beautiful. It’s hard to stop staring at them!! Danielle’s yarns are soft, beautiful, and she is an absolutely wonderful person to work with. I can’t wait to knit with these!!

I am reviewing this advent calendar before receiving it, because I just KNOW its going to be BEAUTIFUL. Nox yarn is a top 10 for me, and I missed this advent last year, so I scooped it up this year. I simply cannot WAIT to get it....and I did get the wrapped option because I'm a child (LOL...42 year old child) who was absolutely sure she couldn't handle seeing all of those mini's unwrapped. I have no self control. I can't wait to relieve the box....Danielle is amazing, and I know these skeins will be GORGEOUS.

Nox Yarn co. is a small yarn dyeing company located in sunny Murrieta, CA. All yarn is dyed by me, Danielle Ahles, in a tiny studio surrounded by natural beauty.

My colorways are inspired by nature, mythology and general nerdery (be it internet-related or influenced by my favorite books and movies!). As an artist, I generally prefer to work on paper and canvas, often using only black ink for my illustrations and prints - dyeing yarn has been a way for me to explore color in a new and tactile medium, and I adore the process (and the results!). I hope you find something to love in my little shop!
