Each design is hand-embroidered with wool, and sometimes other natural fibers like mohair or alpaca. My choices of backgrounds are either hand crocheted wool or wire. With the added touch of complex embroidery stitches and techniques, these pieces will look stunning on your wall and will impress anyone as a gift. Hoop embroideries are framed in traditional wooden hoops, which may be oval or vintage. They work well as wall art but can also be rested on a shelf or placed on a stand. Driftwood wall hangings come with a braided yarn hanger. Both styles are lightweight so a simple nail in your wall is satisfactory for hanging.
I do not use embroidery patterns - I freehand the design onto the background. My designs are one-of-a-kind because I simply cannot duplicate them exactly when placement and the yarn colouration, texture and thickness vary.
I put a lot of thoughtful time into pricing my work. My time spent on a smaller piece may be more than a larger one due to complexity of stitches or beading accents. My materials all vary and I use some unique hand dyed yarns that are costly, rose gold wire costs twice as much as copper wire, painting and adding copper foil to a hoop is time consuming, and so on.

INFO:
Items ship out within 1-3 days, however, most often, it will be in the mail on the following business day. Occasionally, when I go out of town, I may set the shipping to slightly longer like 5-8 days, but this will not be often and I will alert you. Make sure you have the correct address entered when you check out. Send me a message for any specific inquiries, and check the policies section for more information about payment, shipping, gift wrap, etc.
CUSTOMS & IMPORT TAX:
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I cannot be held responsible for delays due to customs
REFUNDS:
I will accept returns within 7 days of delivery. If you are unhappy with your purchase, you must contact me within 3 days or less. Refunds will be sent out after the item has been returned back to me in its original unused/unworn condition & based on my discretion. Buyer pays return shipping & shipping costs will NOT be refunded.
CUSTOM ORDERS:
I am able to take a limited number of custom orders. If you see an embroidery that you like but would prefer a different size or shape hoop, please send me a conversation to discuss. Due to the nature of all the yarn colour and texture variations, I regret that I cannot come up with a completely new design in colours that I haven't made before. Custom orders may take as long as 2 -3 weeks to complete. I will send images of the order before shipping to ensure your satisfaction. Custom orders are not returnable. I reserve the right not to take custom orders close to holidays and when my time does not permit.
