Updates

There's never enough time, is there? My grand plan was to restyle the shop this month with a focus on jewelry.
But life happens!
The clearance sale is extended through June 17th. Take advantage and happy creating!
(new packing station built by hubby)
It's time for some serious spring cleaning! Most everything in the shop is 10-40% off! In June many items will be removed from our shop as we turn our focus from selling supplies to creating jewelry. Select supplies may still be available.
Cheers!
April specials! Select tools, supplies, pendants, and pearls 20% off through the end of April. Tulip Beading Needles have been BOGO priced too!
Local peeps, we'll be at the Centenary UMC craft supply sale on April 28th.
Happy creating!

About

Creative Crafter falls for Beads

From a family of crafters, my great-grandmother put tea towels and embroidery thread in my hands before I could read. Throughout my military and public service careers, creating and crafting were my outlets. After trying many crafts, I've discovered the love of beading. When we moved to the little river town of Occoquan, Virginia, it seemed an ideal spot for a bead shop. We were thrilled to open Off the Beading Path in the summer of 2008. The eight years of providing inspiring supplies and classes to jewelry artists was a pleasure. But when grandchildren came, we wanted more time and less distance. We made the difficult decision to close the shop and move closer to family.

During the transition of moving and rediscovering my own great bead stash, I’ve taken a few classes and remembered how much I love to create. Slowly, but joyfully, designing is again my focus.

Looking over the years, the jobs I've had, nothing is as fulfilling as helping people find that they are creative. Nothing is more satisfying than turning beads into something wonderful. Tell me you aren't creative, I'd love to prove you wrong.
