Always. Every candle and wax melt is poured by hand in small batches usually with a cup of coffee nearby and a playlist in the background. As a disabled maker, I pour each one with intention, care, and the same love for the process that helped me rediscover myself through making.

Never! Each melt is one-of-a-kind. I don’t recreate exact designs, even if the colors or vibes are similar. Every pour takes on its own look unique swirls, layers, and patterns that make it yours alone. They’re tiny pieces of wax art, perfectly imperfect and full of personality. We don't do generic here at Ohwick!

Absolutely. My home smells like a candle lab most days. I test every scent for quality, mood, and throw (that’s how well it fills a room) until it feels right. If I wouldn’t burn it myself, it doesn’t make the cut. All products are CLP compliant and we are fully insured

Since everything’s handmade by one pair of hands, please allow a few days for your order to be poured, cured, and packed with care. I make and send each piece as quickly as I can with the same patience and intention that goes into every pour. You may have noticed that we offer slightly higher prices but this is because we offer tracked shipping for your piece of mind.

Totally! Some waxes have a mind of their own. Sometimes it cools with tiny bubbles, frosting, or little texture shifts, that’s nature doing its thing. It doesn’t affect the scent or burn. I like to think of them as freckles or signs of a real handmade pour.

OhWick was born during full-blown burnout the kind where weekdays blur and weekends barely exist. Pouring candles and wax melts became my way back to myself. Now I make them for anyone who needs a small moment of calm, comfort, or joy.

At OhWick, because we’re a little bit extra, we use a mix of waxes from soy to coconut to custom soy blends. Why? Because every scent behaves differently, and we test each one across different waxes to see where it shines brightest. We only release the versions that smell the strongest and most balanced, so you always get the best scent experience possible.
