“...His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22b & 23
“Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Welcome to my Etsy shop! Here is a place with hand-knit treasures of wool, angora, and other fibers, mostly made with hand-spun yarn! Some garments are children’s sizes, as I love working with children and making goodies for them, but I do offer some for adults, too. All are home made for the glory of God and the edification of others by a happy home school graduate of 2009.
I am quite open to custom orders. If you have fiber you want spun, a garment you would like knit or crocheted, or something specially made, I would love to work on it for you!

This is 2nd Timothy, one of my black angora rabbits!
I sell homespun yarns and knitted garments for the glory of God and the enjoyment of others.
Faith in Christ Jesus as my Savior, serving my loving family, and working with children make up my life, in addition to a fascination with anything soft and experimenting with fibers. Ever since I can remember, I have loved to watch spinners on their spinning wheels and weavers on their looms, and my family and I have had many opportunities to watch spinners and weavers during all our reenactments! Stories in the Bible of spinners, weavers, knitters, and sewers have also intrigued me over the years, and sometime between the ages of 10 and 13, I had all but decided I wanted to spin and knit for my future "job".
Rabbits have been my favorite animal since I was an early teenager, and I soon learned about angora rabbits, whose super soft, wooly hair needed to be periodically trimmed down like a sheep's, and then could be spun. I purchased my first two angora rabbits in 2009, and have loved them ever since! I currently own 2 rabbits, and their beautiful wool has served me well.
My grandmother taught me how to crotchet when I was about 8, and though I didn't practice much at first, I later returned to the art, and really enjoyed it! I learned how to knit when I was 16, and I have now mastered many of the stitches and techniques of knitting (and also how to fix mistakes without ripping everything out and starting over!). I took a class on spinning when I was 16, and after some tutoring from a friend, I soon picked up on the rhythm of pedaling the wheel while controlling the wool with my fingers.
By the time I graduated highschool in 2009, I was ready to start my spinning and knitting business. My first customer told me about Etsy, and I opened my shop in February of 2010. Since then, I have built my own additional website, and have enjoyed selling on Etsy, and at local craft shows. I often find myself knitting mittens and scarves for children, and smiling to myself as I picture them getting all bundled up and snug against the cold! I have given lessons and demonstrations of spinning and knitting to many, and I am so grateful for the abundant ways that God has provided for me!
I am also a traditional Irish dancer and instructor, and I have a love for my family’s Irish heritage! We play celtic and folk instruments, mostly in Irish, Scottish, and early American style.

I generally keep your data for the following time period: 5 years.

I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction.
