Unraveling Creative Roots
Welcome to my little crochet shop! I’m so glad you are taking time to learn about me and the story behind my shop. My name is Desiree. I am passionate about many forms of art and creativity. I enjoy various creative outlets including jewelry making, sewing, stained glass, glass blowing, calligraphy, etc… but there is something very special about taking a simple skein of yarn and creating everything from cozy garments and accessories to displayable pieces of art. Crochet offers me relaxation and respite from my full time day job as a medical social worker and my busy life as a wife and mother to two young children. I’ve been crocheting since 2004. I started with basic scarves and eventually began branching out and challenging myself with more complex patterns.
