I have loved opals since I can remember…. To me, they are somehow reflective of who I am. Opals are full of fire, water, colour, depth and uncertainty.
Those who know me well will say I am wild and adventurous, even though I don’t always feel like this myself. I embrace quiet lazy days and outdoor time with my family. I am often awoken in the middle of the night with inspiration. I am a raw, intensely passionate and colourful person who has so much to share… I thrive when I feel free and follow my heart. Nature and heart connection is what drives me. My beautiful family, my community, food security, music, adventure, travel and always being open to learn and grow is what helps me stay authentic and to embrace life to it’s fullest.
I have been creating Jewellery since 1994. Inspired from years of adventure, travel and self-exploration Opal Wing Creations was birthed in 2003.
I love the way in which Jewellery can express our inner most yearnings and help us to connect and reflect both inward and outward.
Jewellery tells a story of whom we are, where we come from and where we want to go.
The reflective and commemorative nature of how we adorn ourselves and how this can add value, meaning and purpose to our lives fascinates and inspires me.
One of my most precious childhood memories is sitting on my parent’s bed with my mother and exploring her jewellery box with her. Each piece told a story, and each story helped me understand where I came from and what I was a part of.
It made me feel like I had an intrinsic place in the world, which was both meaningful and purposeful. That gave me strength.
One of my favourite things about making jewellery is the connections that emerge through creating it. I feel honored time and time again to be able to create something that speaks to another on such a deep and meaningful level.
Over the years, I have learnt that what I make is more than ‘just’ Jewellery, It not only offers one woman a deep and meaningful purpose, but it is also a pathway to connection, empowerment, spirituality, healing and Its a reflection of all the beauty, love and magic on this earth and beyond. I feel honored to be part of it all. My prayer is that all beings may find love, healing, purpose and beauty on their life journey. I want you to know the beauty, magic, and love that you may see and feel in my pieces are simply a reflection of you.

My pieces are designed to honor the heart, intrigue the mind, adorn the body and nourish the soul. Inspired by the untouched, organic beauty of crystals, fossils and rare gemstones, my jewellery designs honor the spirit of each stone.
Exclusively created by hand in my studio, each piece has a unique story and purpose, a predestined path specifically created for one unique person. The journey begins from the time in which these treasures are unearthed, to the design and execution of each piece. I am honored to be part of such a wonderful process of creation, and pass them along.
