I make birth posters that hold more than a name and a date.
Every poster is built from what was actually true that day — the temperature, the sunrise and sunset, the phase of the moon, the coordinates of the place. If your baby arrived at 01:27 in the cold, the poster shows a dark sky and -6°C, because that is what that night was.
The design follows the time of birth on its own. Daytime births come out in soft ivory. Night births come out dark, with the moon exactly as it stood.
I make each one by hand, send you a preview first, and only then the final print-ready file. If anything is off — a name spelled differently, a detail you'd rather leave out — we change it before you print.
Orbit + Origin is a one-person studio. Right now I make birth posters; the same work suits any date that mattered — a wedding, a first home, the day a dog came home. If you'd like one for a different day, message me.
A quiet record of their place, their time, and their moment in the sky.
