No, these platters are a high quality plastic. Similar to a melamine platter, but it free of harmful chemicals and can be microwaved, placed in the oven, and dishwasher...something you don't always see with melamine platters.

Yes! Our platters are made of a material that is safe for food contact, BPA-free, and contains no harmful chemicals.

If you receive a damaged item, please contact us through Etsy messages or at hello@ourplatter.com with your order number and details about the product within 5 days of delivery. After this time, I may not be able to offer a replacement. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to receive a replacement item.

Notify me within 24 hours of placing an order if it needs to be cancelled. After that timeframe, cancellations are considered on a case-by-case basis.

• For dried-on food or stains, pre-soak your dinnerware before cleaning.
• Never use harsh or abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or scouring pads as they can damage the finish.
• Do not use serrated knives or other sharp utensils as they can cause scratches or nicks in the surface.
• Although dishwasher safe, to ensure that the colors stay vibrant for the life of the dinnerware, we recommend that you hand-wash and dry when possible.
• When dishwashing, use a normal, no heat drying cycle with a detergent that doesn't contain bleaching agents.

It is not advised to use the platter as a cutting board. They are used for serving plates. Serrated knives or other sharp utensils should not be used as they can cause scratches or nicks in the surface.

Due to the nature of personalized products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges. Customer satisfaction is a top priority and we will work with our customers on issues.
