We just received the five flights we ordered for our groomsmen. Everything was packed very nicely. One of the paddles does have a larger hole in it from a knot in the wood; I understand that these are made from reclaimed wood and that is part of its charm, however it does make that one paddle seem a bit flimsy.

ozta is a line of jewelry and housewares that help you embrace and display your trashy side.

You know you have one.

Each unique piece reclaims the beauty found in common items usually bound for the landfill and cannot be replicated. The idea was first born while the owner Megan was conducting a waste audit at an East Tennessee elementary schools as a sustainability educator.

While digging through trash is not every college graduate's dream job, this experience gave Megan an appreciation for sustainability and the opportunity to see how the colors and textures of trash could be stylishly repurposed. The amount of creative brainstorming a person can do from the bottom of a dumpster would blow your mind!

Each piece is handmade in Philadelphia, PA and designed to highlight the distinct characteristics of the diverted item. Like good ole' Confucius says, "everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it."
