Hello and welcome!
Fashion has always fascinated me - and from an early age. I fondly recall turning the pages of the SEARS catalog - a pithy publication in the 60s - with my sister, as we competed to see which of us could identify the cutest outfit on the following page.
Later, the NEW YORKER became my fashion guide, as I cut out the black-and-white drawings of pretty women wearing sophisticated separates sold at exclusive stores. I vividly remember turning the pages of my first, very own, SEVENTEEN magazine with its oversized pages and fresh-faced teen models.
In my home, there are folders X folders X folders X folders of pages from BAZAAR, GLAMOUR, ELLE, VOGUE and others, containing fashion layouts that resonated with me at that time.
Now, vintage fashion resonates with me. Wearing vintage items allows you to express yourself in a myriad of ways while simultaneously benefitting the environment.
Oftentimes, a vintage piece draws the viewer in, with a comment or a conversation. Life IS more interesting when you wear vintage.
The MCM George Nelson clock in my avatar, banner and shop icon hangs in my home. It was purchased by my parents and keeps wonderful time.

May I Return an Item?
Yes, returns are accepted on non-intimate items. In other words, all items may be returned except bathing suits, hosiery, pj's and undergarments. First, please contact me to discuss returning an item. Returns require that all/any tags remain as originally attached. Additionally, the returned item must be in the same condition as at the point of sale. And, finally, returns must be received within seven/7 days from receipt of item. TY!
Do You Offer Free Shipping?
Yes, free shipping is offered on numerous items. If a return is requested & approved, the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Please provide me with an USPS Tracking Number when returning an item.
Buyers - Is your Location Secure?
In accordance with the Terms of Use for Buyers on Etsy: It is the buyer's/customer's responsibility to provide a safe and secure place for delivery of purchases. Please be sure that your receiving location - your apartment, condominium, or house - is secure. Or, consider using your business location for your Etsy orders. TY!
Porch Pirates!!!
I use USPS Priority Mail with Tracking. The USPS insurance does NOT cover theft once your package has been marked as delivered. The buyer will need to file a claim with the insurance carrier and file a police report. I will also need a copy of the completed police report. Additionally, I will file a mail theft report with the US Postal Inspection Service, and provide the buyer with the case number. I have also bookmarked the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center website on my computer.
Signature Confirmation is Required for Purchases of $150.00 & Higher
Due to the popularity and prevalence of online shopping, (and the possibility of porch pirates!!!), all orders that total $150.00 and over will require Signature Confirmation.
United States Postal Service/USPS Options
I use the USPS for shipping packages, unless a buyer has a business account with another carrier. The following services are options to use with USPS services: Mail Hold, Informed Delivery, GPS Coordinates, Missing Mail Report, & Mail Theft. Additional information about these options is available on the USPS website.
