Quand j’étais enfant, j’ai été encouragé à créer, à dessiner et à lire, et à l’âge de 10 ans, je fabriquais des articles en papier pour la « boutique de cadeaux de Jennifer », que je vendais aux voisins et à la famille (mon gramma était mon meilleur client). à l’université, je m’appelais « painted fish art & design » et j’avais mes cartes faites à la main dans quelques magasins locaux. environ 10 ans plus tard, « studio de poisson peint » a vraiment vu le jour quand j’ai réalisé que j’avais besoin d’un exutoire créatif pour me sentir entier ... Après toutes ces années, j’aime toujours faire des articles en papier, et j’ai ajouté la photographie polaroid dans le mélange. faire / créer / fabriquer a toujours été une grande partie de ma vie jusqu’à présent, et j’ai hâte de voir comment le studio de poisson peint évoluera à l’avenir.
as i kid i was encouraged to create and draw and read, and by age 10 i was making paper goods for "jennifer’s gift shop", which i sold to neighbors and family (my gramma was my best customer). in college, i called myself "painted fish art & design" and had my handmade cards in a few local shops. about 10 years later "painted fish studio" really came to be when i realized that i needed a creative outlet to feel whole... after all these years i still love making paper goods, and i’ve added polaroid photography into the mix. making/creating/crafting has always been a big part of my life so far, and i look forward to seeing how painted fish studio evolves in the future.
