Lovely dress, a little more detail in the description of steps for the bias tape would have been helpful. I have done a few before and was ok, but this could be tricky for someone who has never tried. Love all the hack options for the pattern!

Such an effortless easy pattern! I’ve made 3 already (this version is vintage silk saree with cotton voile lining) and will definitely make more! Love that I can get a midi length gathered back view out of 2m of fabric if I shorten the width of the ruffle slightly, makes it a very efficient pattern! I adjusted the bust darts to suit my shape, just make the full dress and baste the binding in place then mark in the darts by wearing inside out and pinching. Highly recommend!

Surprisingly such an easy sew. It helps that the instructions include what zigzag stitch to use for the different steps. Instructions are otherwise very clear

This pattern might have forever altered my brain chemistry ha! As someone who is very much a visual learner, I tend to heavily rely on videos to follow step by step instructions but these were so thorough, I never once wished I had a “better” visual! The pattern is so well marked making it essentially fool proof! I’ve never had luck with knits but now I’m realizing I was using wrong techniques so it’s safe to say this was a like mini sewing workshop that resulted in a an adorable lounge set I’m extremely proud of!! I cannot recommend this pattern enough!

Great pattern. Made a dress from thrifted linen flat sheet. I didn’t have an enough for the ruffles. 5’ 2” and shortened it by 5 inches. the back panel on the fold 3 inches less. So glad there was a video along with written instructions. Will definitely be making more!

easy to make and the directions were super clear, which makes the sewing process a lot easier! love the French seams as it makes everything look so clean on the inside
