The Paramita Designs Story
Paramita Designs began with a search for spirituality, women’s empowerment, and a desire to create affordable, sustainable fashion.
Originating in Bali, Indonesia, Paramita exists to offer women eco-friendly clothing that honors both the planet and the people who make it.
From Nevada City to Mount Shasta, through Bali and Asheville, and now rooted in Knoxville, each place Christina has lived has woven its own thread into Paramita Designs.
Now based in Knoxville, TN, Christina designs sustainable, yoga-inspired clothing in collaboration with a women-run fair-trade cooperative in Bali. Inspired by Eastern philosophy and mindful living, each piece reflects timeless beauty, comfort, and conscious craftsmanship.
Her journey began in 2001 as an exporter of sustainable arts and jewelry handmade in villages throughout Bali and then evolved into a long-standing partnership with Balinese female artisans who bring her designs to life.
Every garment empowers both the wearer and the maker.
