Love of Fabric Inspires Home Sewn Creations
I began sewing at the age of 4. I was active in 4-H and sewed most of my own clothes through high school. I majored in home economics before veering off course to become a lawyer. Now retired, I have more time to devote to creative pursuits. When I am not sewing for my Etsy shop, I am a quilter.
I love fabric, especially high-quality designer cottons. Like the beautiful but hardy prairie flower that inspired my shop name, I strive to combine beauty and durability in designing fabric items for my shop.
It is the FABRIC that inspires me to create items that are unique--and often colorful, striking, or whimsical.
My product lines include my best-selling boutique oven mitts as well as personalized pencil pouches, seasonal home decor, and more.
All items are handcrafted to be durable and practical -- but not ordinary. My boutique oven mitts, for example, include three separate layers of batting sandwiched between high quality cotton prints. The mitts are fully lined with no scratchy seams.
Custom orders are welcome, EXCEPT during the holiday rush (Dec. 1-25).
